WORKSHOP: Iyengar-Inspired Yoga: Precision & Philosophy

With Master Teacher Ramanand Patel

Join us for a transformative 8-week journey led by Ramanand Patel, a world-renowned "teacher of teachers" and direct disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar. This series is designed for practitioners who wish to move beyond the surface of asana into the profound depths of alignment, awareness, and yoga philosophy.

Ramanand will be assisted by Kiran Adibhatla and Andrea Graziosi, both long-time yoga practitioners dedicated to the Iyengar tradition.

What to Expect

This series focuses on the Iyengar tradition, emphasizing structural integrity and the subtle mechanics of the body. Ramanand’s teaching style is unique—combining rigorous technical precision with a lighthearted wit and deep philosophical inquiry.

Technical Mastery: Learn to use props and specific alignment cues to access poses safely and effectively, regardless of physical limitations.

Subtle Awareness: Explore the integration of breath and the withdrawal of the senses (Pratyahara) to quiet the mind.

Living Philosophy: Each session weaves in the wisdom of Vedanta and the observational insights of J. Krishnamurti, making ancient concepts relevant to modern life.

"The nature of consciousness is happiness because it doesn't lack anything. In practice, is your mind reflecting consciousness as it is?" — Ramanand Patel
